SAFE KIDS Bicycle Helmets

SAFE KIDS of South King County want to help kids stay safe while bicycling. SAFE KIDS is promoting the use of bike helmets.  Bicycle helmets can save the life of a child.  Properly fitted helmets have been shown to reduce the risk of death or head injury by over 80%. 

Safe Kids Helmet Sales and Fittings (Children & Adults) are available every Thursday from 3 to 5pm at Kent Multicare Clinic.  Wearer must be present for a custom fit.  Safe Kids will also check your existing helmet for a proper fit.

Bell-Anderson employees have been trained by SAFE KIDS to properly fit bicycle helmets and wil be available at the following events this summer.

June 10th at Meridian Elementary from 11am to 12:45

June 13th at Horizon Elementary from 4:30pm to 6:30pm

July 12th & 13th at Kent Cornucopia Days.  Our booth will be located on Safety Street with the Kent Fire Department and Kent Police.   (Life Jackets will also be available for sale and fitting at this event)

Helmets and Life Jackets are sold at cost.
